CYRK 3 Na Trapezie Jan Kotarbinski Beautiful Original Polish Circus Poster 1975 (Three On Trapeze)

In 1962, the Polish state agency responsible for the circus industry, Zjednoczone Przedsiębiorstwa Rozrywkowe (United Entertainment Enterprises or ZPR), enlisted top artists to create contemporary circus posters as a means to rejuvenate the public's perception of the Polish circus. These Cyrk posters have since become symbols of artistic expression, characterised by their witty humor, sleek designs, typography, and vivid hues. Even today, they continue to be scrutinised, examined, and appreciated for their metaphors and allusions.

The poster measures 26 1/4" x 38 1/2" (67 x 98 cm)
Condition: It has never been folded. It has some minor tears at the bottom of the poster and one 1cm tear backed with non acidic filmoplast tape. The poster is in a Very Good condition with bright colours and displays very well.
